We hope you'll join us for the VIRTUAL 11th Annual Community Immunity Luncheon benefiting The Immunization Partnership (TIP). Each year, TIP hosts this special event to remind community leaders about the importance of immunization issues, to raise funds to embolden our programs, and to honor those who have dedicated their time and made it their mission to advance immunizations and immunization rates.
We look forward to hearing from our keynote speaker, Ethan Lindenberger, as he shares his inspiring story. We will also discuss our current work and future plans related to COVID-19, and our education efforts surrounding vaccine development. Plus, we are honored to recognize Community Health Choice with the Ralph D. Feigin, MD Award for Excellence, and Jacquelyn Cox with the John R. Boettiger, Jr. Award for Community Partnership.
Your support of this event will positively impact The Immunization Partnership’s efforts to reduce vaccine-preventable diseases through timely immunizations.
Ethan is known nationwide for his opposition to anti-vaccine misinformation. He famously received vaccinations against his mother’s wishes upon becoming a legal adult. He testified before United States Congress earlier this year and has been featured on national and international stages such as TED. Ethan offers an interesting perspective on the importance of vaccinations and represents a growing movement of youth who want to be vaccinated.
TIP will honor Jacquelyn Cox with the John R. Boettiger, Jr. Award for Community Partnership for her active involvement supporting high immunization rates. As a former TIP Board Chair and a committed immunization advocate, we commend her dedication to supporting efforts to keep the community healthy by preventing what’s preventable. We appreciate the opportunity to recognize her leadership in immunization work in Houston and across the state.
Community Health Choice
TIP will honor Community Health Choice (CHC) with the Ralph D. Feigin, MD Award for Excellence in recognition for its commitment to immunization education and advocacy for vaccine-preventable diseases among Houston's underserved populations. Through CHC’s education efforts in at-risk communities and longtime support of TIP, we are one step closer to realizing our vision of a community protected from vaccine-preventable diseases.
