Ask Texas Lawmakers to Avoid Hasty Decisions.
Support Immunizations and Current Policies.

I'm asking you today to protect our current vaccine policies that protect my health and the health of millions of Texas children. Our state is experiencing a severe measles outbreak that has led to two (2) children dying, almost 500 confirmed cases, and more than 50 hospitalizations . Vaccines are an effective public health tool that saves millions of lives each year. The majority of Texans support vaccines, school entry vaccine requirements and providing access to vaccines, especially for those in underserved communities who have difficulty getting access to healthcare resources. Unraveling vaccination policies will lead to more outbreaks, hospitalizations, and death. Please don’t undo decades worth of successful immunization policies.
